Things have been so Aurelicious, absolutley AMAZING...So I meant with Mrs. Dena Henderson; she is the perfect sponor for me,the upmost qualified person since I started this class. We discussed what I should be working on and things to prepare for. She will be providing me with a contact list and resuorces to make me a strong. We are currently; working on creating my theatre resume, and audition monologues...-
So today was second day with Ms.Henderson, we spoke about what materials I would need for up coming auditions and scholarship opportunities. I also had to get very organized my binder was UNACCEPTABLE.
January 19; today we talked about what a college audition consists of and what to prepare and materials that will be needed. To my surprise I found out that most schools want a mandatory eight by ten black and white head shot...Whoa are they serious thats going to be expensive, I said but intelligent Mrs. Henderson had an idea...
So, today I learned something very valueable. You see my plan is to eventually become a film actress as well as doing theatre, such as broadway but I realized to day that is very common. It is so commmon that about 96 to 98 percent of our Hollywood actress and actors have done stage prior to and most continue to. Wow, so with theatre I am realizing there are so many things I can do with my major. There are so many things WITHIN my field of choice to do.
Mrs. Henderson has a class fourth period A days and planning on b days, because of this there is only so much she can do. Due to this I am allowed by my intern to stay in class to catch up on things with any class, espcielly executive intern. So, today I stayed in class to finish my AD project and got pretty far. It was very interesting.
Today, I went to Ms. Henderson's and of course since it was an A day she had a class and I sat in the middle seats and did homework for Mrs.Del Castillo. But, all the sudden after a few minutes or so I realized how incrediably tired i was, absolutely drained from the week. I started nodding off, however dont worry I didn't fall asleep instead I went to the Tech booth and watch Ms. Henderson do some tech work as I finish some assignments.
well, i am wondering why i never recieve any responses ever...Is why my field boring everyone? Well, anyways trying to catch up in classes. The students have been assigned pantomines, which is silent acting, without sound what so ever. These kids had no clue on kids and we brainstormed alittle and came up with nothing. so , then we pretend we were on a drmatic soap opera...i realized i am really the perfect candidate to play a lead role on a soap opera. lol ! Aurelicious out!
ugh, agony!!! At times, i find myself to be so bored, the kids still have no idea on what to perform as pantomines. I gave out a few successful ideas and started helping develop character and the method to producing a successful pantomine. I also realized i am a good acting coach....hum?
We are still working on mastering the art of pantomines. The kids are having a hard time in understanding that it involves no sounds,no grunts, no humming, no stomping....NO!!!!!!!!!!NONE!!!!! Anyways, i am anticipating my NY TRIP!! it will be so much fun. 4 broadway shows, wax museum, interview with the west side story cast, Pace university PACE UNIVERSITY!!! need i say more? sounds like make kind of trip!
OMG!!!the NY trip was absolutley licious. Truly amazing and good thing I LOVE NY! I love PACE, I felt as if it was meant to be, i felt fulfilled and at home while on campus. Getting on the plane to head back home was sad. billalicious was on the trip with me through text. Billy would text me saying "oh, i love this part when we were at shows" or " My seat is uncomfortable" and so on depending on where we were, texting billy added to the fun. I would send him pictures of everywhere we were and inform him of when me and him were on the move and he would continue to respond as if he was truly there. It was his texting vacantion, lol. billalicious and Aurelicious loved it.
I am still missing NY and can't wait till the big move. anyways, it is starting to hit me that I am going to miss everyone. sure i am not necessarily close to my family but i have two my friends and my blood relatives. Being, apart from billy and ryan will truly be hard, it is going to be difficult when i go off to Ny and we can't just get together. But, i feel that i must theatre is what I love, and NY offers me all the best opportunities. The scarifices i must make for my future.. :(
The kids presented their pantomines today and their finish products were very good. I felt very proud of them and I now know that i would be a great acting coach. So that is also something i could look into. During, this time i was also doing Ap gov homework, you can't believe how much i hate that class.Why did I decided to take it online? AGONY!! I am under so much stress at this time and I need to slow down in order to set things straight.
Wow..this last week has been so stressful. Shenenka and Mrs. del castillo did not help with this cause, but they actually helped me to make the decision of accepting that i will not be able to afford attending Pace university at this moment. but, graduate school will definently be done at Pace, or possibly i can attend as a transfer after a few years. i guess i have just to wait and see what the future has to offer me.
Guess what????...I got accepted to FLORIDA SOUTHERN COLLEGE. I have decided to become a business and marketing major and plan to use all of my internship and resources to work as a film producer post graduation at Fl Southern. Wow, complete change...i know right lol but I feel secure in making this decision, and i see a bright future for myself...
OMFG. i am so excited that you got excepted in Florida Southern College. I cant wait to see you in Land-o-lakes! We gunna party it up, "BUT DONT GET CRAZY!" Stay chill in college. dont be... ... ...too licious. anywho. keep in touch gutta chick!
