Fraternities and sororities I believe are not an essantial part of your college experience, yet however can be beneficial in your transition from high school to college. In joining a frat or sorority you gain a clique a close niche of people who you can interact with and gain guidance from; a group of peole you must feel comfortable around and will help you throughout your college experience and can also provide several opportunities for you. so, a fraternity and sorority is not at all essential yet could quite beneficial in aiding with the immediate transition from high school and give a sense of companionship; I do not see it as a costly tradition either.
i dont think that fraternities/and or soroities are an essential part of college. college is where you go to get an education. But they are nice if your looking for a place to belong and/or meet new people, but there not for everybody but if it is for you then it a great idea.
A lot of people get through college without sororities or fraternities, so they aren't essential. I think it depends on personal preference. Some people are a lot more comfortable with a structured social group while others work better individually or with looser friendships. It's not something I would personally get into, but I understand the appeal in it.
fraternities in my opinion are just part og college hype. you dont need to be a prt of this. they just put u thru a bunch of crap that u dnt want to do . and some fraternities caost money and i dnt no about ne1 else but the less expensive college is the better
i believe that sororities and fraternities are an essential part of college. i think that it just add more to experience of college making if more fun and adventurous,it creates social groups which is necessary for function in society . It also helps in the future after graduating and searching for a job.
In my opinion i believe that fraternities and sororities are not essential to the college life at all. i basically feel that people who join those groups are pretty much paying for their friends. Joining those groups are not the only way to make friends, in fact i believe that fraternities and sororities can get people into bad habits. So as you can see i do not support the whole fraternity and sorority scene!!!!
sororities and fraternities are not an essential part of college in my opinion. They are costly and sometimes even unsafe to be a part of. They can seem like a family to some and even make the transition into the life of a college student easier for some, but to me, these are not necessary. I have my own family and friends to makeup a support system i can rely on.
i think sororities and fraternities are not essential part of college.I think it should be about your education first.I mean they could be fun and a good way to meet people in college. But it just depends on the person so i don't think everyone should do it unless its for them.
In my opinion, sororities and fraternities are not an essential part of college. The most important aspect of college is to get an education on your future career, therefore you should pay more attention to your studies rather than putting sororities and fraternities first. They do help you to feel more at ease and they are an opportunity to meet new people, however, they are not essential.
Sororities and fraternities are not an essential part of college. there are so many other clubs, sports or local hang out spots on the college campus that are easy to join and do not require you to pay for entrance or even go through a qualification process. it is so much better to join clubs where you know people share the same interests with you and you will most likely be able to find something in common vs entering a fraternity or sorority where you know no one and you feel like an out cast. why pay for your friends when you can meet people else where for free?
I think that sororities and fraternities are not an essential part of college. Frats and sororities are very expensive and getting into them can be very difficult. They also take away from the true point of college, getting an education. Your future depends on college, and while frats can be a good experience, it shouldn't take away from your education.
I think they are essential to collage, when you go to collage you leave your family behind, and a feternity or sorority is like a new family, other people that you can relate to that go to the same school. It helps you get through collage, I think.
I think fraternities and/or sororities are a good thing to be a part of in college. Joining one can help you meet many new people from different backrounds. It can also help you develop a great support system which is what many college students need.
I think fraternities and sororites are good for college because you get to meet more people. It will also help you have great support that alot of college students when they attend college will have to have.
i know some people in a fraternity and sororities and i dont get why. they cost you money for the "experience" but you could just be there friends without being in the sorority or fraternity. also it just makes you more tied down and you have obligations to your house. it would be fun to have a house and sisters for a lifetime but it just seems like alot of work for me. so for mt they are not an essentail part of college.
Sororities and fraternities are not really an essential part of college. You may go to college and be part of other organizations that allow you to have friends and be just as close to them. It seems to costly and I personally wouldn't want to pay for my friends. I rather go to school and make friends with people who share the same intrest as me and I will be getting the same college expirence as I would in a Sororities, but less costly.
Even though fraternities and/or sororities are somewhat part of college i think it has become more of a cost aspect. Since the begining of time, fraternities and/or sororities have been at colleges and it is a tradition. But as the 21st century grows and people become more greedy and as the economy grows, it becomes more of a who has more money type thing. People want people who have money so it benifits them in the end.
i think that frats and sororities are just a group of friends you have when your in college. i think that when you are in one you do alot of stupid stuff and later in life regret most of it. im not gunna b in one. You have to try so hard to make people accept you and fit the mold of a typical frat person and im not for changing for people that i have to work to be their friends. if they dont like me then whatever it doesnt bother me.
