i guess i would say my most memorable moment was, i was sitting in the catwalks, and this lady was in the balcony. she was cleaning and signing and had her ipod in. she had no idea i was sitting there and watching her. (she had an amazing voice btw) and then like she looked over and screamed and jumped. then realized it was me and was like Katie!!!!! I didnt know you were there!!!!! you scared me!!!!
the most memorable experience at city hall would have to be when i learned how to use the color copier. That thing was so slow and i had all these problems like i had to change the ink and i had to get more paper and blah blah blah it was crazy and the least memorable was when i had to scan all the minutes into the computer from 1980 untill 2009 that took forever :)
If by "least memorable" you mean the one I want to abolish from my memory forever - it was the day I got an email from Elaine saying that I had an article on scholarships due on Wednesday. It was Tuesday.
The wording of the email was inconclusive - I couldn't tell if she meant next Wednesday or tomorrow. Because I didn't want to take my chances, I sent her an email asking for clarification and began my attempt to navigate my school schedule to get an interview with Mrs. Pool for the article. She was busy all day. After a lot of stress and switching things around we managed to find a time later in the day when she could talk to me while helping out one of her appointments. I had almost the entire article written by the time I got the responding email from Elaine telling me it was due NEXT Wednesday. I was done for the day.
My most memorable moment was before I even started the internship. When the idea was in my head that I would be writing for the paper and I couldn't stop talking about it to my brother, who couldn't have cared less. It was so exciting. Then I had to downplay it when my first article came out. Pretend I wasn't freaking out.
This internship was a bad experience. however there were a few things that i got out of it.my most memorable moment consist of the brides coming in to pick up their gowns only because they are so excited . my least memorable moment is steaming the gowns .... i would burn my fingers all the time with the staemer. also another least memorable was dealing with people who do not understand their body type and the attire that goes along with it.
i think my most memorable moment would be when i got to help with the birth of puppies. they were so cute but they werent breathing right away so we had to suction the fluid out of the puppies airways. my least memorable moment was when we do nothing at the internship. then we get stuck with busy work or worse no work. then i feel helpless and like i shouldnt be there. both of these experiences showed me that this internship taught me alot about myself and wat i want out of my career.
Well, my least memorable moment had to be yesterday. There was a sub, and it seemed like she did not want to be there. At all. She rarely spoke to me, and just everything about it was tense. After getting all my work done, there was still half an hour before I had to leave. Longest half hour of my lifeee. She even made Baylee do her work in the back of the room because she was talking. Without any warning! I felt sooo bad for her :(
Anyway...wow I don't know what my most memorable moment would be. There's so many! I'm just gonna say what I first thought of. I was writing down contractions for a matching game, and when I couldn't think of any more, I grabbed the nearest book and began searching the pages. Mrs. Hunter was like, "Are you looking in the book for contractions?" I answer, "Yes." She starts laughing. It was great haha. :]
Ohh snap, I forgot to say what I learned! So from the sub situation... well I would say that why are you a sub if you don't want to be with kids! Whatever profession you go into, the top priority should ALWAYS be interest. I'd rather have a job that I like with not a great amount of pay than a job that pays alot that I hated.
From the most memorable moment, I'm not sure what I learned. I guess it just made me happy in the moment, and that you don't have to be serious at all times.
Describe your most memorable and your least memorable moment at your internship. What did you learn from both of these experiences?
My most memorable moment was reping fish with chryset, it was a rewarding experience and i learned so much. My least memorable moment was doing data one day, i just didn't want to do it. I learned that i will love to rep fish and other marine mammels, but not so much doing data.
My most memorable moments were when I got to help take x-rays and help this lady find out that she had a big cavity before it had to be turned into a root canal. The least memorable was when I had to watch this little girl yell and cry because Dr. Mitchell had to pop the abcess and pull out her tooth with the cavity in the middle.
Well, I have had several memorable moments. My most memorable would have to be everytime i was on stage with Ms.Henderson's class playing character development games, and helping them develop the right understanding for their scenes and character.
However, my least memorable moment would be everytime I filed for Mrs. Anderson-Moore. I know from that experience that working in a mail room is not for me. Wow, incrediably tedious, ugh!!!!!
my most memorable moment was when i observed my first cesarean section. it was my first day back in labor and delivery and i was placed in the OR immediately. i was so excited to be back in all the chaos. the section went smoothly and was a great experience. it was a nice welcome back. my least memorable moment was when there was a nurse shortage and the nurses were slammed. there were so many deliveries but i wasnt able to observe any of them because i knew some of the patients (privacy issues) and the nurses did not have time for me to shadow them. overall, i learned a great deal from my internship and it has definitely reassured the fact that i want to go into nursing rather than becoming a pediatrician. it is a nice feeling knowing that i have an idea of what i want to get into for a career.
My most memorable experience was probobly watching the children learn as much as they did. Numbers, colors, shapes; it all fascinated me. To be there and witness the growth of a child is unbelievable. My least memorable moments are those when the children misbehaved, such as how Cy is going through a biting stage. Having to yell at the children sadens me because I hate having to watch them cry.
I can't say I've had a "least memorable experience in either internship that I've had. I pretty much loved it all. In my pediatric one, I was constantly learning new things and moving so I was never bored. I especially loved getting to write prescriptions the best. In my daycare internship, I was always dealing with one child or another, keeping me entertained for literally the ENTIRE time i was there, so there was enver a dull moment. I loved dramatic play the best though. Getting to play with each child on an individual level helped me not only understand children better, but develop a relationship with each child. The only thing i didn't really enjoy there was bleaching the balls and the toys, only because it was tedious and the sun was burning hot. Overall however, i loved both internships :)
my most memorable moment at the middle school was the first day b/c that is when i was introduced to everyone and got to know about what would go down while i was there. my least memorable moment happened the day i did my second PA announcements and i messed up so liek the whole entire school heard it and ugh that was embarassing
with mr. gilliland the least memorable day was the first day going through the senior check off list for graduation and seeing names of people that i knew have something against them. th4e most memorable day was well everyday honestly i had so much fun with that internship.
so from the middle school i learned that its good to get out of your comfort zone and meet new people especially officials b/c they can help you later on in life. with the screw up on teh announcements i learned to just stay calm cool and collect when speeking to a large group of people even if they cant see you
with Mr. Gilliland and the least memorable moment i learned that stuff happens and thats just the way life goes and you have to move on and like i said i loved everything about that internship.
my least memorable moment was when there was nothing to do because then time just dragged and we all just sat there.but my most memorable moment was right before i left, i got to meet a very sweet women and we did a brest ultrasound on her and she was only 45 years old. i later found out when we reviewed the scan that we found a cancerous mass .
I have had a lot of fun and interesting moments at my internship. My favorite moments were doing stuff that was associated with the patients and just working in the clinic in general. I loved to develop x-rays, work in sterilization with Lee talking about LOST haha, making impressions, and talking all day with Maria about almost everything. My Least memorable moments were the times when I was in the back room. Most of this time I would be doing extrememly boring things such as folding t-shirts, making folders, stuffing envelopes, or making goodie bags. All in all though, it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend to anyone and everyone interest in this field. And if I could do it again I DEFINATELY would.
My most memorable moment at my Peace River internship in Pediatrics was when a little girl was admitted for being dehydrated and having a stomach virus. She had to get her blood drawn and an IV line set up. This was very memorable because over the few days that she was in the hospital I worked really hard to keep her from feeling frightened and uncomfortable. It was also very memorable because I stayed by her side the whole time she was getting her IV done. I know how scary it can be for children when it comes to getting shots are getting anything done with needles and I wanted to make sure this little girl wasn’t scared. I kept reassuring her that it would make her feel better and not to worry. This specific interaction with the patient taught me that it is very important to show your patients that you care and truly do want them to feel better. It taught me to put myself in the patient’s shoes and to think about how I would feel if I was in their position. This is extremely important in pediatrics because you work with young children who are frightened very easily by anything that is unfamiliar to them. It is important to make them feel comfortable and secure while they are in the hospital under your care.
My least memorable moment was at my internship at Achievements Day Care. The least memorable moment at this internship was nap time. The children have to follow a specific schedule and my least favorite part was when they would have to nap. I am always ready to join in and play with the kids but during nap time there is not much to do. In the meantime I would sometimes help Mrs. Shelia trace and cut images for the children’s art projects but of course I would rather be interacting with the kids then doing art. This memorable moment taught me that it is important to be patient and enjoy the quiet time you have to yourself while the kids are sleeping. You have to have a lot of energy and patience when working with children. You also do not get much done when the children are awake so it is important to make the most of the time that you have to yourself. Mrs. Sheila always got a lot done and many lessons planned for the next day during the kids nap time. This memorable moment taught me the importance of time management.
well my most memorable moments was when katilyn and myself first came to our internship. We were so nervous but very excited at the same time. I've learned so much from it. Also when we got to play with the puppys all day.. they were so cute and it was very exciting. My least memorable moment was when a couple of dogs died in surgery and it was very sad to tell the ownwers about it. Ive learned form both of them that theres a happy side to becoming a vet and theres always a sad side to it but you must know how to deal with each situation properly.
My most memorable moment in my internship was Mrs. Letourneau's first Bistro day. It went amazingly smooth, even with the culinary one students. I was so excited to see her face when we counted the sales. My least memorable moment this semester form my internship would have to be, Mrs. Letourneau's second Bistro. As good as the first day was the second day was not so good. We ran out of food, we had no idea there would be so many orders, plus I think some of the kids gave out the wrong orders, because there were two different salads. So it did not go as smooth.
My most memorable expirnce at my intern was probobly the time me and coach Allen were fighting about his coaching abilities. It was a a fun day since we got to express the diffrent techniques to coaching. I will never forget it. My least memorable was when he went out for a meeting and I just helped organize his files and camp schedules. Overal I liked my intern it was always a something new to do everyday. =)
most memorable moment was when judy played with the cat that was asleep and said "help me!" Least memorable moments were the slow days when there wasnt much to do. No job is ALWAYS fun.
i guess i would say my most memorable moment was, i was sitting in the catwalks, and this lady was in the balcony. she was cleaning and signing and had her ipod in. she had no idea i was sitting there and watching her. (she had an amazing voice btw) and then like she looked over and screamed and jumped. then realized it was me and was like Katie!!!!! I didnt know you were there!!!!! you scared me!!!!
